Stuart Websdale is the Domestic Bursar of °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½Ó¿Ú.

Biography

Stuart Websdale was brought up and went to school in Victoria, Australia. After completing his Bachelors of Commerce (BCom) in 1993, Stuart worked as a Duty Manager at the Rich River Golf and Country Club and later as a General Manager at the Australian Leisure and Hospitality Group. He moved to the UK in 2002, and joined the award-winning Møller Institute at Churchill College as their Deputy General Manager.

Stuart was appointed Domestic Bursar in November 2018. Before taking up the role at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½Ó¿Ú, he served as General Manager at the Møller Institute for 14 years. He is currently managing the large-scale kitchen redevelopment within °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½Ó¿Ú’s Grade I-listed historic buildings.

Stuart was previously a director of the Venues of Excellence consortium, from 2010 to 2017.

    When applying to Cambridge colleges it can feel a bit overwhelming as there are so many to choose from. I applied to °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½Ó¿Ú because it has a large MCR which was important for me because I wanted to feel part of a community.     What first attracted me to °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½Ó¿Ú was its reputation and history, central location without being touristy, and the postgraduate housing options.
