Speaker Bios

 

Consultant in Egon Zehnder's Technology practice, based in London. Prior to Egon Zehnder, I spent a decade working across 4 continents at McKinsey and Ørsted offshore wind. I hold a BA (Hons.) from the University of Cambridge, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School where I was a Fulbright Scholar. Outside work, I am a keen squash player and (very) amateur wildlife photographer. 

Daniel Schmidt 

Daniel Schmidt is an industrial engineer who is excited to help companies pivot towards more environmentally sustainable business models and operations. 

Michael Badtmann 

Michael is a management consultant with an entrepreneurial background based in Germany. Michael is a  Senior Manager at top management firm Bain & Company​. He has served SME and blue-chip clients in Private Equity, Technology, Insurance and Banking where he was part of various assignments. His area of work covered multiple countries in the United States and in Europe including Germany, United Kingdom, Switzerland and France​

His areas of expertise include commercial due diligences, development of new business models/ value creation plans, merger and market entry evaluations as well as post merger integrations​. Beside his consulting job Michael is an active investor in the German real estate market as founder and managing director of a small real estate investment firm focusing on value-add residential buildings​. In his leisure time Michael likes to spend time in the nature for hiking, skiing and sports in general – beside that he likes spending time with his friends and family and enjoys good food and coffee.

Reginald Seawright

Reginald is an Investment Director at FSN Capital, a Northern European private equity firm focused on the mid-market segment, based in Munich. Before joining FSN Capital, Reginald was a Vice President at Guidepost Growth Equity. He also worked as an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company in Europe and the United States and as a management trainee at Siemens AG in Germany and the UK. 

At McKinsey, Reginald worked on over 15 management engagements across six countries, specializing in Industrials and Technology, with a focus on Marketing and Sales and Business Transformation. 

Reginald holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Master’s degree in Industrial Systems, Manufacture, and Management from °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½Ó¿Ú, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Friedrich-Alexander University. He is an active alumnus of Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft (sdw). 

In his free time, Reginald enjoys art history, scuba diving, traveling, and martial arts.
