War Project update
“If you’re any the wiser, For anything Keyser, May ever opine, You’d better resign” Keyser Atkin (pictured): medic, son of a Jesuan and boat club stalwart and obviously with a personality that was a gift to the College’s poets!
This month we also feature two less conventional stories. A.R.C. Schlumberger served with the French Air Force and as such was not included on the Roll of Honour (an omission we’ve corrected online). He was one of 3,500 men to be killed in action while serving with what is believed to be one the world’s oldest air forces. S.C. Welinkar was also an airman, one of just four Indian Officers known to have seen active service in the RAF. More about him and his comrades may be found here
